Scores are up on the SSA website. Only one way to describe a day in
Seminole like today..........................Ka Boom.........Anywhere from 6 to 12 kts reported with bases at 6500 or so...............DB breaks 80 mph raw, without water.and its mid March. Tomorow is looking better, so instead of the normal rest day, we fly. Tonite, BBQ cook out, and everyone talked about todays flight, then the ladies put on a song and dance, it was good. Theirs a shoot out happening from 2nd thur 10th, point spread is close, very close. So stay turn, this is going to bring memories for some, for along time. Also, the final day looks weak, which can bring in the larger span ships, so this is not over till the fat lady has sung. Oh, no land outs, normal patterns, and just plan good flying by all, brings a welcome "well done." Thermal tight, Soar high, Fly safe, # 711 reporting. |
