Airman Certificate Info

What are the possible reasons for the following statement on the Airmen
Certificate Information web site?: "For information on this airman's
certificate you must contact the Airmen Certification Branch."

just a guess... but maybe the person chose not to make his information
public?

Sounds possible, but I know of two individuals listed on the web page
with their full address,
date of last medical, and some certificate info, but then the statement,
"For information on this
airman's certificate you must contact the Airmen Certification Branch."
Then there is a phone #.

Probably "boilerplate."

I don't know, but after a year or so of them doing the right
thing, the FAA has once again gone back to blatant violation
of the Federal Privacy Act by disseminating my personal information
(notably my certificates and the details of my medical) in direct
defiance of my request under the AIR-21 exemption to the
act.
