Well, I know where the one from the Sport Aviation
ads is (N6140). Then, there is a fuselage about 45 miles from me. Then there are several others that have been built and talked about various places. Maybe they are the same one? I suspect the '3 built' is a bit low. It is not much of a glider, but it can still soar. The link Wayne provided has about the most information I have seen in one place on the plane. If you really want a fuselage, I can see if it is available. Steve Leonard Wichita, KS |

There was a partially completed (or partially repaired, hard to tell)
example at Turf Soaring a few years ago - absolutely scary! It didn't appear to have any substantial wing carrythrough structure, and the control surfaces were very sketchily attached. Perhaps it was a bad example, but I wouldn't even think of flying one of those! Too many nice 1-26s getting dusty in hangars... Kirk |
