All this recent advice to "build a proven design for your first airplane" ... Just got word this evening that a friend of Pete's has started the detective work to find the originals of the plans and start filling the existing orders. Letters will be going out to explain the situation, and plans sets should soon be on their way to those who have been waiting. No decision yet how the sales will be continuing, but both Pete's son and his stepdaughter want the plans to stay on the market. Ron Wanttaja |

In other FlyBaby news, Margy talked to a guy at Oshkosh who bought N500F for the purpose of placing it in a museum somewhere. |

He's the President of the Washington Seaplane Pilots Association.... http://seaplanes.home.att.net/ ....and is starting a seaplane/floatplane museum at Renton, which was not only the departure point for Wiley Post and Will Roger's last trip, but the place where N500F did its forward somersault on its first foray on floats. Bob is currently building a full-scale replica of the Douglas World Cruiser "Seattle." The museum will house this plane when it's done. He plans to put N500F on floats for display in the museum.
