I didn't think I would be believed so I looked it up. I already had advance
knowledge because a friend of mine who is a retired major just bought a new
uniform to swear his grand-daughter into the USAF when she enlisted.

I didn't believe it either, but according to the reg, majors and above are
required to have them. Guess I better know where I can run out and buy one if
the need arises.

I will note however that this on-line version is dated 2002, in the Air Force
that could be two iterations out of date.

Not sure where Art bought his, probably MacDill AFB, but I know they carry
them in the Clothing Sales Store at Peterson AFB.
