Good Morning all.
A few months ago I saw a VW derivative engine in the front of the kitplanes magazine, in the What's New section in the front. I have since misplaced this magazine and can't remember the name of the maker/distributor. The engine is based on the VW engine, but I think didn't actually use any VW parts. It was basically an upgraded model of a previous version and had distinctive red anodizing to some of the parts. I thought it was a Great Planes angine but I checked their site and it's not. Can anyone help me out here? My appreciation in advance. Rob Melbourne Australia. |

I checked this site and was very impressed about everything but one thing.
Price. At the current exchange rate it would cost me more than for a 914. About two months ago it would have been a different story. We were getting goos $s for the Euro. Thanks, Rob. Thanks to all who replied.
The engine was in-fact an aerovee and Reggie supplied the link. Many thanks to all who replied. Thinking of putting it in a CH701 with a woodcomp beta and reversible prop. This could be the ultimate STOL setup. Any opinions on that set-up. Any feedback on these propellers. Rob.
