Trying to locate anything about Lt. Robert Washington, Navigator on
Capt. Glenn Rojohn's B-17 that was of the 100 BG and went down after colliding with another B-17 in the same Box formation. Lt. Robert Washington bailed out, but cannot find out if he survived or not. This request is being made by me for his buddy Sonny Grubman who lived with him after washing out of Flying School in 1943-44 who also was assigned as a Navigator on B-24's My interest in this is the request made by Sonny to me, as I am the Editor of the International Association of Airline Hams Newsletter. For more info on our Association go to airlinehams.net Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Jack, W7EJJ -- E-Mail scanned prior to transmission by Norton AntiVirus |
