Brandywine Soaring Association is still seeking a replacement tow
plane

Order of preference
Pawnee
Citabria
Scout

I see you are posting for someone else so you may not know the answer
but why the preference for a Citabria over the Scout.

Years ago I towed for AGCSC which operated both and the Scout
performance was far better.

Don't know specifically. They had a Citabria previously, so there is
familiarity there I suppose. I hear they recently passed on a
C172/180hp.

I'll share your comments.
