The first batch sold out, so I made another run. Simply tape it onto
your wing when no wing-runner is available (like on an areo-retrieve) Keeps the tip a good 6" out of the weeds and gravel. I towed from a strip that was only 30 feet wide by placing the main wheel close to the runway lights on one side and this neat little tip wheel close to the lights on the other side. She rolled straight as an arrow, after 100 feet the wing came up and I was back for supper and a hot shower in short order. The wife won't let me fly without one, saying; "Get an aero-retrieve or walk home". You can't tell its there in flight. After landing remove from wing, replace the small roll of duct-tape, fold it up (7" X 8" X 2") and stow it away for next time. You could keep one in the club/FBO tow plane, so's everybody didn't have to cary one? $125 (I pay the postage) and Santa could have it under your tree this year. E-mail me for photo. JJ Sinclair |
