Sometime between 8:00pm on Saturday 8 Dec and 7:45am Sunday 9 December, an
EB28 glider in its trailer was stolen from London Gliding Club, Dunstable Downs, England, United Kingdom. The trailer was later recovered, when it was found that the glider's fuselage had been cut in half and the cockpit and self-launching engine had been removed. There is a web-site listing details of the stolen engine and instruments along with their serial numbers: http://www.genesys.net/eb28stolen/ If you see any of this for sale under unusual circumstances or are suspicious that an item of equipment might have been taken from this stolen glider, please email: or your local police. There are also some pictures of the glider in the state it was recovered he http://www.onlinecontest.org/olc-2.0...olc0712#071212 |
