Are thoseC-130 still retained somwhere that libya purchased some years back
and held by the US,or sold off. |

Thanks for the info on the Libya C 130,wonder what will happen now.I know
they keep in storage for years with no ill effects.will be interesting as i am sure The colonel will be in quiring. |

I'm not sure it's the same 130's; but when I was there in 2002 they had some
130's that were to be delivered to a foreign govt, but when the US gov't stopped paying the storage charges the planes condition kinda went to hell in a handbasket. "Ray" wrote in message ... I would suspect these birds would be considered scrap metal. IIRC: there were pictures of these aircraft posted a while back and they did not look good. |
