You obviously never saw these in flight !!!
Low Level in the air they were awesome, quite possibly the
most beautiful aircraft - ever.

Or made a plastic model of them. I, too, thought it was ugly, based on
pictures. Then I made an Airfix model, which brought out that as a3D
object it had great grace & charm. I've never seen one fly, but the
statics also show the same grace.

It is like this. Due to funding cuts they had only one bucket of red paint
and one of white. soooo....
