The Garmin 430 GPS/COM/GS/VOR/LOC requires an external CDI for the non
GPS NAV. The Michel MC-60 digital CDI http://www.avionix.com/indicator.html fits the Garmin 430 but is not TSO'd. Does the CDI have to be certified for IFR use in experimentals? |
