Incident happened while one of them was still on the ground, taxiing for takeoff or something. Even though they were powered planes, its a good reminder that "see and avoid" needs to be taken seriously - all the way to the end of your landing rollout! Just because you're no longer thermalling (or you're established in the landing pattern) doesn't mean you stop your visual scan! Take care, and fly safe, --Noel |
