As a long time RedSox fan I hate to say anything good about the Evil Empire
Yankees. However I feel that the acquisition of Pudge was a great trade for NY. For at least the past 10 years or so I've felt that if I ever was to pick current ML players to play on my team I'd pick Pudge first. Now the Yanks have him and that worries me. Even at his age he is one of, if not the best, catcher in baseball. If he plays anywhere near to his best he can lead the Yanks past Boston.
