Glider Flight Instructor Seminar, Sept 8 thru 12th at Ridge Soaring
Gliderport, Julian, Pennsylvania.

The purpose of this seminar is to enhance standards in flight training
methods. Essentially, we will begin with flight lesson one and share
how we do it to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations,
and accepted teaching standards.

Each day will begin with class room discussions, followed by flying.

The cost of $250 includes glider rental, flight instructor fees, &
bunkhouse facilities, (bring bedding.) Tows are extra.

Primary references will include FARs, Glider Flight Instructor Manual,
The Glider Flying Handbook (2007), Glider Basics From First Flight To
Solo, After Solo, and Transition To Gliders.

Space is very limited.

CFIs who need to revalidate their ratings can do so Friday afternoon
and Saturday.

It is not possible to fulfill the requirements for a new Glider CFI
during this course, however, it will be a giant step in the right
direction.
