Why all moderated groups suck

Moderated groups have a built in cleansing program for bad moderators;
it's called failure. If the forum allows bad moderators, good people go
elsewhere. It's the perfect example of a free market at work.
You arrive, you try it on, if you don't like it, you leave. Simple. Just
