I used to operate VK4DX ca. 1984 At one time used a modified CB radio for the 10M through a transverter to reach the 80M band. Dreafully dirty signal with harmonics up into the high VHF band. Later purchased a much cleaner radio & consequently much less complaints from the neighbours. ;-) Graham |

I also used it for DX (5watt AM) and worked VX from Indiana,USA as well as Europe and Africa. All using the Quad antenna with the help of sunspot maximum conditions.G -- 73 Anyolmouse |
