Academy: Test answers may have been leaked, By DAN ELLIOTT

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The Air Force Academy is investigating
whether students obtained the answers to test questions before a
crucial exam, officials said late Friday.

Seventy students were questioned and "about half admitted compromising
the answers, admitted not following our honor code," Lt. Col. Laurent
Fox said. More will be questioned, he said.

The code forbids cheating, but Fox declined to say if that was the
specific violation. "People possibly had the answers to the test, one
way or the other," he said.

Students found to have violated the honor code could be placed on
probation, asked to resign or expelled.

The 25-question "certification test" covering military concepts was
administered last week. Students must pass the test to be certified as
cadets.
