http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/europe...car/index.html Looks like fun to me. Karl An opening scene for a James Bond movie popped in to my head right away........... A get away from the bad guys from the ground and into the rear of an orbiting C-130 :-) This also brought up another flying car question that a quick Google didn't answer. Many years ago I visited the Forney museum (yes the same Forney) in Denver and there was a flying car on display that had actually flown if my memory is correct. Not only was it a flying car it was amphibious as well. My memory says it looked something like a very square lifting body. Can any one give me some more clues about it's history, name, or where to look, other than driving to Denver? =========================== Leon McAtee |

But it does have the virtue of merging the proven technologies of the dune buggy and the powered parachute. Add a permanent enclosed storage space to house the foil when on the road, and it should be marketable in enough quantity to turn a profit. It certainly has more utility than a lot of the "personal watercraft" that are sold in my area. Peter |
