I'm glad to hear that some people are using this article to show how
economical soaring can be. It's nice to think that some pilots may
hear their wife/husband/family say, "Thank goodnes you took up soaring
instead of pulling us into financial ruin by playing golf or shooting
Bambi"

If they think that's cheap, they should check out the Antelope Valley
Soaring Club. We fly from Krey Field, about 3 miles from the old El
Mirage field in So. California. Dues are $25.00 per month with NO
rental fees.
