Default 2009 Motorglider Parowan camp full

The Auxiliary-powered Sailplane Association's (ASA) 2009 Parowan camp
entry list is full, but we are accepting waiting list applications - no
deposit required. See the details on the ASA website
(http://motorglider.org) in the "Competitions and Camps" section.

Eric, et. al
My first ever Super-Regional at Parowan the next week is also full. I
guess you have to get up early in the morning to catch a spot at
Parowan.

that's why I am opening up a new site 274 miles north of Parowan at
Logan, Utah. Bigger City, larger airport, and hopefully just as much
fun soaring.....at Logan we get to add the Grand Teton's to our
turnpoints!

Woo hoo....love soaring in Utah!

Micki,

I agree, Logan is a great place to soar. Logan provides both thermal and
ridge soaring. I am surprised that it seems to stay "below the radar" of so
many soaring pilots.

For those that missed out you could attend the West Coast Motorglider
Fly-in in late summer 2009.

The date and location is still to be determined but Soar Nevada in
Minden has offered to host the event.

Send me an email if you are interested in coming.

Also if you want to help organize the event I could use some help
advertising it.

This is not a comercial event, just a bunch of people with
motorgliders who are organizing a Fly-in.

So far I have 15 interested pilots and 10 interested spectators from
as far away a England, Australia, HI and WI.

Seems like there is some serious interest by the spectaors/pilots. We
just need some more pilots to come out and
show what they fly.

Ray
