are tshirts exploitive?
Hello all,
As a veteran, I'm not sure how to feel about the following website, which sells shirts that are "tributes" or "memorials" listing the names of Americans killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom. http://www.cafeshops.com/wegotsaddam/217266 Do you think this is exploitive commercialism or really a decent tribute? Do you think this is exploitive commercialism or really a decent
tribute? I think a donation to an approiate orginazation would be better. What about all my friends and shipmates who died in training or non hostile events? Who but their friends will remeber them? We all stand on the shoulders of those who went before us. I will never forget them. Sparky |

I ran their telephone number through google...The was another Café site
(Spitzer telescope) that shared the same number. I would proceed very cautiously with a phonecall to verify their intentions before buying. I know, it is possible to have an interest in veterans AND telescopes, but caveat emptor. dano |
