Ok help me spend more time putzing around with my glider. I am in the
process of redoing the aileron seals on my Ka-6Cr, and it got me to wonder about the rudder and elevator. Right now the gap on the elevator is not sealed off at all although the trim tab on mine does have a mylar gap seal. The rudder isn't sealed off either. Have any of you done this, and do you have suggestions on how to seal off these gaps? Also any other things to look at where I can make small improvements? Thanks Peter |

Thanks Peter pete i used 3/4 x 1/2 inch open cell foam with one of the 3/4" wide sides sticky backed. one strip on the airplane side and another stip on the control surface side. seems to have worked fine on the cherokee. |
