Next Saturday from Mountain Valley Airport, Tehachapi CA. Pilots meeting
at 10:00, please register in the coffee shop before then.

For your $5 entry fee you get great flying for as far as you are able, a
landout and retrieve to remember, a chance to win your unique winner's
T-shirt [and also for your crew to get a similar award], and considerable
bragging rights - not to mention fame, fortune and the love of women if
you can sell the movie rights.

Straight out, handicapped distance contest, open to all X-C pilots. Last
year's longest retrieve was from Idaho, but the winner flew a 1-26. Meet
some of the country's best pilots and also some newcomers who may earn
that kind of recognition in the future. Sharpen your skills and end the
season in style.

If you choose to arrive on the Friday, please join us for a hangar BBQ
around 5:30.
