I know the correct way to gap a plug is to use a plug vice. I don't
have easy access to one. Short of using a bench vice, hammer, and drift, is there a less brutal way to adjust the gap? - Mike |

You just thread it onto the plug just the right amount and the thumbscrews can push the ground electrodes toward the center pin reducing the gap. Of course, you have to be careful not to push them too far and set the gap too small. AFAIK, there is no safe way to increase the gap once it is too small. Bill Daniels |
