The FAA's charting office (NACO) has delivered on their promise to
properly depict the Grand Canyon Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA) in the National Flight Database (NFD). I have some Google Earth snapshots of the new airspace, and the kml file, he http://justsoar.com/public/stuff/ Reminder for justsoar.com subscribers: the NFD does not assign a restriction type to GC SFRA (calling it "OTHER"), but the justsoar.com flux capacitor codes the airspace as RESTRICTED. The VFR chart can be browsed he http://skyvector.com/?ll=36.14520701 0705924,-112.68188854541539&chart=230&zoom=5 ted/2NO |
