Default Possible Android Tablet?

Just saw an article in the Toronto Star newspaper about a student-
oriented tablet running Android that should be coming to Canada this
summer. I'm no expert on these devices, but a quick glance at the
specs seem to indicate that it might be acceptable for soaring, and
the price is expected to be $200-250 CAD.
10" diagonal, multi-touch screen, gps, bluetooth, SD card, 1GHz dual-
core chip.

What say those whom would know of such things?
