I'm currently in the same situation. I bought a Cendyne DVD burner,
advertised with a $30 rebate. The company was already in bankrupcy at the time of the sale. What can be done about that? They were advertising a drive with a rebate that there was no chance of getting back. That's fraud. You ought to bring it up to the attention of the local district attorney, if Fry's refuses to give you the money. The above was quoted from a post that Juan made at DFW.Forsale.... I seem to recall that Jim Campbell, Juan's near and dear friend, sold subscriptions to his bankrupt (or near bankrupt...within days...) magazine at the Arlington Airfair. Why is it Juan can recognize fraud so easily in this situation but when his idol, the Zoomer, does it he doesn't see what's happening? Oh, well, one can hope..... maybe, someday, Juan will wake up... NOT!! He likes to be argumentative, abusive and won't change, I'm sure... John |
