Is there any place that sells new knobs for radios? I am installing
faceplate restoration panels on my '300' series transponder and ADF, and the ADF knobs are pretty clapped out. TIA -- Ben C-172 - N13258 @ 87Y |

Go to any big electronics parts store and buy some knobs that look
almost the same. The big knobs are 1/4 inch shafts and the small knobs are 1/8 inch shaft. I replaced mine with all aluminum knobs that look almost the same. Of course you could buy the official replacement parts from the MFG but you will get a price $hock. I think we even have some at PAVCO. |
