I think this is the XP-51 that EAA has in their museum in Oshkosh. BTW-- George Baker's shop in New Smyrna Beach, FL has been restoring an A-36 Apache (dive bomber version of the P-51A). It is coming along well, with the engine now hung on it, with cowling. The restoration is immaculate, with every questionable piece of sheet metal replaced. |
