My cousin is looking at a glider in Canada.
His question is, if he bought it, what is involved in getting the N number? Thanks... Chuck -- Having a smoking section in a restaurant, is like having a peeing section in a swimming pool. |

Actually, the complete phrase is: "Having smoking and non-smoking sections in a restaurant is like having peeing and no-peeing areas in a swimming pool." At one point we were overseas (I think Africa somewhere) and one of our group had asked the airline agent for a seat in the non-smoking section (which I guess they didn't have). She was informed, very politely, that it was not necessary for her to smoke in any section of the aircraft. |

Not a problem with a certified in the US aircraft. Have a DAR inspect it
for conformity and with his okay a new airworthiness certificate will be issued. Just contact your local FSDO or GADO for this information. I did this several years ago with a Canadian Mooney aircraft. For $300, the local FSDO recommended DAR didn't even walk out to the aircraft and examine it closely. Why the FSDO wouldn't do it is beyond me. I sure did enjoy that halogen landing light that passed his inspection, though. -- ---------------------------------------------------- This mailbox protected from junk email by Matador from MailFrontier, Inc. http://info.mailfrontier.com "Chuck" wrote in message hlink.net...
