Default APIS motorglider talwheel

Has anyone had any experience in removing the steerable tailwheel fork from an APIS motorglider. I am having great difficulty in removing same, perhaps due to corrosion. I have tried various releasing agents such as Releasall, WD-40, etc, with no results. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

If you send me an e-mail at allardyce "dot" j "at" gmail.com, I can
put you in touch with a gentleman at my club who owns an APIS that
recently removed the tail wheel on his glider.

Thanks for the reply. Any chance this APIS is in Winnipeg?
