Late July, I will flying from the Boston, MA area first to Montreal
for a conference and then up the St. Lawrence river an hour or so to CYML. Anyone been there and can offer flying and/or sightseeing tips? I will be staying at the Fairmont, looks like a fairly spectacular hotel with a view of the St. Lawrence. Actually, seems like a strange place; a fancy hotel resort (with a casino no less) in the middle of nowhere - there is no commercial airport within a few hundred miles. I also want to do some whale watching; apparently the whales come in from the Atlantic ocean to about this point in the St. Lawrence river. |
