Default Mitchell T. Ford 1961-2004

On Saturday, May 8, while on a mountain flying training exercise, Mitch
Ford, CFI and owner of Springbank Aviation (CYBW) lost his life when the
plane impacted a mountain in Kananaskis Country west of Calgary. The pilot
and owner of the privately owned Cherokee survived the accident and was
rescued that day.

Over 1,000 people attended his memorial service today.

Mitch will be sorely missed by his many friends in Canada, myself included.

Those who wish to make a donation in Mitch's name may do so to STARS (Shock
Trauma Air Rescue Society) at www.stars.ca
