Default G-1000 Question

During my checkout in a G-1000 equipped 182, I had asked if there was a way to
show two navaids simultaneously on the HSI and was told that it wasn't possible
with the current software.

In this month's AOPA Pilot, I see that there is a G-1000 equipped Mooney on
page 72, with both NAV1 and NAV2 displayed on the HSI, along with two text
boxes on either side of the HSI showing what navaid or fix is tuned in.

Does anyone know if this is possible on the Cessna G-1000, or is this a
Mooney-only feature? Other than that, and the flaps indicator showing on the
screen, there doesn't look to be much difference between the installations in
the two planes. Probably a smart idea to not allow too much differentiation,
otherwise it could be a nightmare getting checked out in multiple G-1000
planes.

Thanks,
Eric
