In the book and first movie version of "The Filght of the Phoenix," a shortage
of Caufman starter cartridges is a key plot point and provides the dramatic climax of the story. I've done a quick internet serach and did not turn up any current suppliers for said cartridges. How would the movie remake, set in the current time, treat this problem? Low battery power? Hmmmmmmm..... That is, assuming the C-119 is either equipped with Wright 3350's, or P&W 4360's with electric or inertia starters... if they came that way. Don't know, didn't check. Just wondering what the real-world solution to this problem would be. Harry |

Did you try the spelling "Coffman" rather then Caufman??

I tried about 5 different spellings... no dice on a supplier, just a lot of
chatter about mounting them on Spitfires. Harry |
