Default PTT wiring ?

I have a Becker 4201 and I'm wiring up a PTT and vario switch in the stick grip.

Many people have posted that 22-24 tefzel is the stuff to use.

Should the wire be shielded?

Is there a "best" type of quick disconnect connector to use for this small guage wire. I was going to use a JST connector, although I have no idea how much current is running through the PTT or the V7 climb circuit...

Current in wires such as these is very small. Your're likely talking under an AMP at most.
So you know, "JST" makes a lot of connectors, so that info is sorta moot.

Take this from someone that worked in the wire & cable industry (manufacturing) for ~30 years.

PS, knowing WHAT "JST" connector would help us help you. ;-)

All the PTT switch does is ground a logic gate, so unshielded 22-24 Tefzel is more than adequate. I personally wouldn't use a connector, just run from the switches to the connectors on the back of the Becker and the V7 (less to go wrong).
