I am building a simulator cockpit loosely based on the Bell 206.
I am sticking to helicopters as this has been my main interest for many years. In completing my computer to be dedicated to this, do I need to go with a very deluxe video card as speed will not be a factor but flight at 5000 to 9000 feet will be the norm. I also plan on doing a lot of mountain flying as there is nothing more fum than swinging around mountains flying through the valleys. I also plan on simulating EMS flights with landings at undeveloped sites as well as hospital helipads. Nothing puts more hair on your head than a touchdown at a rooftop helipad! Any information will be appreciated. Also, my son is now in college taking 3D computer programming so he can work in the movie industry. He promises to do some aircraft for me in gmax. His work, so far, is extremely realistic. I might talk him in to doing a side line for FS2004. Fred Mahone |
