Here is the "Planes of Fame" Flugzeugbau build Fw-190 A-9, "White 14".
I got this shot at the 2012 Paso Robles, CA "Warbirds Over Paso" air show.

The Planes of Fame FW 190 is a new-build replica, I believe. The
FHC's FW 190 is a restoration of an original aircraft found in Russia.
Their Bf 109E is also an original.

Yup! That is why I mentioned the German company which built it, Flugzeugbau.

Correct.

Brain stall. Up too late.

Correct.

They "cheated" on their A6M3 - it has a Wright engine.

There's a lot of them about. The first picture here is from Quatro
Vientos Museum, Madrid, and the second from the Luftwaffen Museum,
Gatow, Berlin.

That was probably a Hispano HA-1109 which was originally powered by the
Hispano-Suiza 12Z-89. The final version built in Spain in 1954 was the
HA-1112M1L "BuchƓn" powered by the R-R Merlin 500-45.
