Region 12, So Calif Contest is On ...8/23 to 9/1/03

Due to a late start on courseline.... the Region 12 contest sanction
just got approved this past week.
Dates are Aug 23, 24 and 30, 31 and Sept 1, 2003.
Location: California City airport. Entry fee $280.
Please RSVP for appropriate towplane bookings.
Classes: 15M, Open, Std, Sports.
Guests planning to fly Calif City, please also RSVP.

Weather has been great lately. Today 8 kts to 12k on the Antelope Valley
floor, with light southerly flow and a tickle of monsoon clouds.
The K-21 did 150 km in ~2 hours.
