Hi, anyone have any experience on how to connect oudie to 302 and use the 5V from the 302 to power oudie? The standard cable doesnt seem to support this option.
Many thanks! Thijs Paré |

Hi Thijs,
I offer to options for connecting an Oudie to a 302. Note that a serial data voltage converter is required because the Oudie talks TTL serial (low voltage) and the 302 talks RS-232 serial (higher voltage). - Use the supplied Oudie Cable Kit and RJ45 to DB-9m adapter http://www.cumulus-soaring.com/seeyo...udie-Cable-Kit configured as shown he http://www.cumulus-soaring.com/seeyo...pter-RJ45-DB9m The Oudie power/data cable must be powered with 12 V to work. It can't get the 12V from the Oudie. - Use a Goddard Oudie-PS5a-1 cable. http://www.cumulus-soaring.com/goddard.htm#Oudie-PS5a-1 Best Regards, Paul Remde Cumulus Soaring, Inc. ______________________________________ wrote in message ...
