Fun with a Variometer, Aka watching paint (water) dry.
Was playing with an old variometer the other day, actually was looking into re-balancing the needle so it reads at 0 instead of 200ft up. As a test I put drop of water on the needle, here a youtube video of what happens.. https://youtu.be/3J76lSd68lg Brian
