Does anyone have a wing root mod for the Duo?
That sharp 90 degree junction on the underside of the wing is right out of the 1970s. Contacted the usual suspects: Streifeneder. US S-H rep. Lindner. ....With no luck. Where's Rick Wagner when you need him? Thanks! Jim |

Jim I can only imagine the conversation Schempp has had: Young engineer: "All our competitors have hi-tech CFD wing-fuselage junctions, ours so prehistoric you cannot even seal it with tape. Would it be time to do something about it?" Tilo: "Nein" |

Tuft the area and take some video with and without. This would show if worth doing any more. My guess would be not. FWIW UH |

Better yet, install 1/4" foam weather stripping tape around the entire mating surface on the fuselage and forget the tape. Works great.

Had been considering it on the flat part of the fuselage (mid-chord bottom surface) for a while. At least we won't have to argue with the tape. Jim |
