I have not used my Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 in about six months. I
tried to use it this week and I encountered a problem. I can not get the brakes to release. Pressing the period on the key board or pressing the trigger button on the Joy stick does not work. It does not matter if I go to a saved flight or if I create a new one, it is the same thing, the brakes are on and will not release. Changing aircraft has no effect. I tried uninstalling the program and then reinstalling it. After reinstalling the program I was really surprised that I still have the brake on problem. My computer far exceeds the requirements for FL 2004 even with the program at the highest settings. My Joy stick is a, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. The program worked perfectly for months. So I am truly puzzled at why this problem has come up and persist even after removing FL 2004 from my computer and reinstalling it. If you have any ideas I would appreciate your help. Thanks. ![]() |
