I'm working on a thermodynamic model of a jet engine for school. What I'm looking for is a resource where I can get basic thermo properties of a common jet fuel such as JP-4. Basically I need to know the fuel's (lower) heating value and have a table of entalpies or total enthalpies and specific heats versus temperature of the fuel's combustion products.
The problem is, most thermo books I've looked at don't have values for heating value, and many don't have tables for jet fuel or jet fuel products. I have access to the University of Texas engineering library, but they have over 1000 thermo books...I don't really want to go through all of those one by one. I thought there might be someone here who had to look up this kind of thing before and could point me in the right direction or name a book with what I need. Thanks a lot! |
