This past Sunday seemed like a good day to test run the V6 and see how
it cooled on a day forecast to be over 100 degrees. The coolant temperatures and pressures were OK (195 @7#, oil temp 210). This was the first time I measured the exhaust gas temperature. Ranged from 1275 to 1500 degrees F. Seems like a large range but I don't know. Spark plugs look the right color. Any thoughts? David W |
