I was just wondering how the OLC scores are calculated. I was looking
at a case today where a higher performance ship Ventus 2 versus my Ventus B flew a shorter distance and slower yet gets a slightly higher score. Here is the raw data from August 20th on the USA section: 304.96 Hunter Robert US 348.66 88.73 Hemet (US) Soarfari Ventus 2 (N666RH) 2017-0013 303.35 Taylor Tim US 349.85 102.3 Morgan Ut (US) Cache Valley Soaring Association Ventus 1 (TT) 2037-2402 Can any one explain how the scores are calculated? Thanks, Tim |
