Gypsy Major parts
Greetings,
Curious if anyone can comment on what the parts availability (in the US, that is) is for Gypsy engine used in Tiger Moths and Chipmunks? Is this an orphan? Any other advise sought as well about a Chipmunk specifically, but mostly curious about what parts are like. Does England or Canada still have a steady supply? Regards, Ryan Wubben Madison, WI |

We still have a number of DH81s (and Austers) active in New Zealand. These people might be of some help http://www.svas.org.nz/pages/contactus.htm aaargh I meant to type DH82 These people work on Gypsy Major powered aircraft http://www.croydonaircraft.com/CAC.html |

It was a nice, balmy summer afternoon -- the countryside is just magnificent! -- Remve "_" from email to reply to me personally. |

Maurice Kirk evidently has two (three?) for sale: Gypsey majors dismantled 1 and 2. 2 for £7000, 3 for £ 10,000. http://www.kirkflyingvet.com/Diary.a...&Year=23/11/05 On 23 Nov 2005 10:06:19 -0800, wrote: Greetings, Curious if anyone can comment on what the parts availability (in the US, that is) is for Gypsy engine used in Tiger Moths and Chipmunks?
