Hi!

Is there any active web forum with a special focus on Sport Pilot and LSAs ? SP used to be a fairly active topic in this newsgroup, but recently I have seen surprisingly few entries here (and some in r.a.piloting). Maybe I'm just getting blind and my google searches bad, but please advise. Cheers, Nils |

Post something - might liven things up a bit. :-) Too bad Cessna 152's and similar sized planes weren't included - 1,600 or 1,700 lbs? Instead it's set at 1,320 lbs. Oh well. Some choices are knocked out of LSA by speed ...120 kts/138 mph. My thought here is, if it meets the weight and stall speed limits - who cares how fast they fly? I sent that comment in during the rule making period (whatever it's called). LSP/LSA - it is what it is. Another no-medical option is motorglider. http://webpages.charter.net/engreenwell/ASA/ Montblack |

I'd say that rec.aviation.pilot is just as good as any, plus sooner or

It also has a moderator that may or may not be on his medication.
